Why Work With Us
Great care starts with great people.
At Easteden, we know that the quality of care we provide depends on the people who provide it.
That’s why we want Easteden to be somewhere you can feel valued for the work you do, supported to do it well and encouraged to keep developing throughout your career.
As a family-owned care provider, we believe in looking after our people as well as the people who call our homes their home. Whether you’re taking your first steps into care, joining us as an experienced professional or looking for your next opportunity in nursing or leadership, you’ll become part of a team where your contribution matters.
Rewarded for what you do
Caring for others is skilled, important work and we believe that should be recognised.
We offer highly competitive rates of pay across our care, nursing and support roles, alongside a range of benefits designed to make working at Easteden rewarding.
As part of the Easteden team, benefits can include:
Highly competitive rates of pay
Free Perkbox membership, giving you access to a wide range of high-street and online discounts, rewards and regular treats
Employee referral rewards
Colleague appreciation events, seasonal celebrations and team treats
Support for your wellbeing
Supported from day one
Starting a new role should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
Every new colleague receives a comprehensive induction and training programme, with support to help you become confident and comfortable in your role.
That support doesn’t disappear once your induction is complete.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and managers who understand the demands and rewards of care and who are there to help you develop your skills and provide the highest standard of support to our residents.
We want our teams to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and continuing to learn.
Learn, develop and grow
At Easteden, training isn’t something you complete when you first join us. Learning is part of how we care.
Our homes provide residential, nursing and highly specialist care, supporting people with a diverse range of needs. Providing that care well means continually investing in the knowledge, confidence and skills of our people.
Alongside comprehensive induction and ongoing training, our colleagues benefit from the support of two experienced Practice Facilitators, who provide specialist learning and development across Easteden.
Training can be tailored to the needs of individual services and the people we care for, helping our teams develop practical skills and specialist knowledge that can make a genuine difference to residents’ lives.
Whether you want to become exceptional at what you already do, develop specialist expertise or progress into a more senior care, nursing or leadership position, we want to help you get there.
More than a job in care
There are easier jobs. Few are as meaningful.
Working in care gives you the opportunity to become an important part of someone’s everyday life — helping them feel comfortable, encouraging their independence, sharing conversations and laughter, supporting them through difficult moments and celebrating the good ones.
Some of our residents have particularly complex needs. The work can be challenging, but with the right training, teamwork and support, it can also be incredibly rewarding.
And whatever your role — care, nursing, activities, catering, housekeeping, administration, maintenance or management — you contribute to making our homes places where people feel safe, valued and at home.
Build your career with Easteden
We want people to join Easteden and see a future here.
A career in care can take you in many different directions. You might discover an interest in specialist care, develop your clinical skills, take on additional responsibility or progress into leadership.
Whatever your ambition, we believe in recognising potential and giving people opportunities to grow.
